About Us
Founded in 1997, Stonewall Farm Bed & Breakfast has been a hospitality mainstay in the New Hampshire community. Located in Hillsborough our 1785 historic country inn is just a short distance from many area attractions. Galleries, museums, nature trails and historical landmarks are plentiful throughout the scenic Monadnock Region, making Stonewall Farm idyllic for family vacations and reunions, country weddings, business gatherings, celebration of life ceremonies or for just getting a little R&R.
The farmhouse property was constructed in 1785, and is furnished with luxurious beamed rooms, private baths and a large open air kitchen. Born in this house was David Goodell the 42nd Governor of New Hampshire. Perfect for viewing both the gorgeous sunrise and sunset, you will be surrounded by quaint, country calm. Gourmet breakfast is served on our patio in our spacious dining room or in our cozy country kitchen. Our living room is perfect for enjoying a fireside conversation or curling up with your favorite book.
In addition to our premier accommodations and homey feel, Stonewall Farm is an official Alzheimer’s caregivers respite retreat. A facilitator for support groups is on site, and we are endorsed by Dr. Robert Stern of Boston University. Some of our services also include massage therapy, Reiki, yoga instruction and classes, and grief counseling.
In addition to Stonewall Farm being an official Alzheimer’s caregivers respite retreat, we are also one of New Hampshire’s premier wedding destinations, as we have hosted many weddings over the years, including intimate rustic weddings and larger country weddings.
